On expectations though, this is what makes mexico city so amazing. You Kindof generally expect things will be shitty - polluted and trafficky and clausurado. So when you end up on a rooftop and the sun is shining in dont-know-where Colonia with a dj and some really hot new friends, who are actually friends of your friends, and you can see the volcano's erupting and the music is good so your first beer makes you feel on fire ----- this is why I love this city so much. You can't predict when things like that are about to happen.
